Spring Weaving

I know I started weaving again with cotton and silk and I did finish that piece.
But who can stop weaving with plastic if I have still all these colors and ideas in my head.
This just looks to cute and happy. I prefer it to the strong red one. but there is a place for everything......

Had forgotten how nice and fast it goes to throw the shuttle and weave fabric. Love the hucklace pattern. Plan to make a top out of it. Perfect for Texas in the summer. Airy but protective from the sun.

Weaving with red Wall Street Journal bags and fiber

If you consider that most of the funky yarns are polyester, it explains why it looks so good woven together with plastic bags. The bags from the Wall Street Journal are thinner then from our daily newspaper which make it easier to flex in the weavings.
