Plain Weave with Churro Wool

Churro wool
I had forgotten how nice and easy it is to weave with wool. This shawl is warp and weft with churro wool and New Mexico, hand spun and hand dyed. A true privilege to work with. I wove 24 inches in an hour last night. Had to stop myself.
Many years ago I read the book of the 3 weavers who came to New Mexico and started working with this particular wool of these sheep again. I loved the book, how they took charge of their lives and just mastered it.
This yarn was purchased at Tierra Wools.
